Here is an interesting story which you won’t find in many other sports:
Evidently, a prospective player for a rival team in the Pecos League had his logo submission selected as the official logo of the new Clovis Pioneers. Dave Keine is going to spring training with the Las Cruces Vaqueros (2010 Continental League and now part of the Pecos League). Should he make the team then it may be one of the few (or first) times that a player plays against a team whose logo he designed.
If nothing else, these types of stories are what make independent professional minor league baseball unique!
