It seems unlikely that he would join the team as he is still rehabbing his arm. Should he be signed by the team then he would would be one of a handful of players who played for the same independent team after a 10+ year span since last playing for the team. Kevin Millar was one such player, returning last year for the St. Paul Saints after playing for the Saints in 1993.
