BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers 5 AT Utica Unicorns 2 By Adam Rickert Every batter in the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers lineup reached base at least once in a 5-2 win over the Utica Unicorns in Friday night’s USPBL action at Jimmy John’s Field. The Beavers ended up with eight hits on the night while also drawing five walks. The scoring started in the third inning as D.J. Gee, who led off the inning with a triple, scored on a fielder’s choice. A two-out double by D.J. Martinez brought home Dave Pepe and Dan Kennon to give the Beavers an early three-run lead. Gee finished 3-for-4 with a single and double as well as the triple. Pepe reached base four times, singling twice while also walking and getting hit by a pitch. Right fielder Miles Williams also had a game to remember, hitting his second home run in as many nights with a no-doubt, two-run shot in the fifth. “I got deep into the count and I was just seeing pitches,” said Williams. “He left a fastball down and I put a good swing on it.” Williams’s big fly in Thursday night’s win was a line drive that flew…
