ROCHESTER, Mich. – The United Shore Professional Baseball League announced candidates for player awards. The player awards will be released before Friday night’s playoff game between the third and fourth-seeded teams in a pregame recognition at Jimmy John’s Field. MOST VALUABLE PLAYER CANDIDATES Ty Hensley, RHP, Unicorns Currently holds an 8-1 record Pitched a no-hitter on Aug. 6, combined no-hitter on July 3 and Aug. 14 Broke single-season record with 47 Garrett Christman, RHP, Beavers Ranks top seven in nine different offensive categories No. 2 in runs scored (40) and RBI (37) Currently third in on-base percentage (.429) Nolan Clenney, RHP, Unicorns Leads the league with 14 home runs, third all-time in USPBL history Tied the all-time record in home runs with 25 Ranks No. 1 with a .600 slugging percentage and 46 runs batted in MOST VALUABLE PLAYER CANDIDATES Ty Hensley, RHP, Unicorns Led the league with 35 appearances…
