BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS By Adam Rickert Eastside Diamond Hoppers 11 AT Utica Unicorns 6 UTICA — An incredible six-hit game for second baseman Kam Stewart propelled the Eastside Diamond Hoppers to an 11-6 victory over the Utica Unicorns at Jimmy John’s Field on Friday night. After collecting a double, two singles and an RBI in his first three at-bats, Stewart stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and one out in the sixth inning. With his team already holding a 5-2 lead, Stewart poured salt into the wound by sending a towering fly ball over the left field wall for a grand slam. “I was trying to get at least a sacrifice fly to get another insurance run in,” said Stewart after getting a Gatorade shower from teammates Jamie McMillan and Luke Ortel. “He ended up putting it right in my wheelhouse and I took advantage of it.” The slam was the fifth home run of the year for Stewart, who uncharacteristically batted third in Eastside’s order on Friday with normal three-hitter Tyler Booth getting the night off. “I loved it,” said Stewart when asked how he felt about hitting third. “I’ve got a little juice…
