BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS By Adam Rickert Utica Unicorns 6 AT Eastside Diamond Hoppers 2 UTICA — The Utica Unicorns picked up a 6-2 victory over the Eastside Diamond Hoppers Thursday evening in a resumed game that was suspended on July 13. The game was called in the top of the second inning with the Diamond Hoppers clinging to a 2-0 lead thanks to RBI singles from Corey Caswell and Alex Delgado. When the game was resumed Thursday evening, shortstop Ian Yetsko got the Unicorns on the board with a fielder’s choice that brought home center fielder Luciano Villanueva. Just one batter later, second baseman Matt Page put the Unicorns in the lead with a two-run blast. “Honestly I was just looking for a good pitch to hit and barreled it up,” said Page. “I just got lucky and things were clicking today, I was seeing the ball well.” The home run was Page’s first as a Unicorn, as he just recently made his USPBL debut on August 3.
