BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers  15 AT Utica Unicorns  5 By Adam Rickert UTICA — Alex Bell smacked two home runs, including a grand slam, in an incredible eighth-inning rally that led the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers to a 15-5 win over the Utica Unicorns in Sunday’s USPBL game at Jimmy John’s Field. Birmingham-Bloomfield’s bats were held silent for a large chunk of the game, but a two-out solo home run in the seventh by left fielder DJ Gee got the Beavers on the board. Still trailing, 4-1, to begin the eighth inning, the first eight Beavers recorded hits. When all was said and done, 12 Beavers came around to score in the inning. Four runs came with one swing of the bat thanks to Alex Bell. With Ray Ortega, Dave Pepe and Dan Kennon filling the bases and the Beavers still down by two, Bell deposited a Jacob Ezell pitch well over the left field fence, catapulting his team into the lead. “It felt great to put our team ahead,” Bell said. “We just kept chipping away and I came up with bases loaded and tried to find a pitch to hit and drive the ball.” However, Bell…
