ROCHESTER, Mich. – Manager of the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers, Chris Newell, discusses a winning culture in this week’s United Shore Professional Baseball League’s Tuesday Tip of the Week. Newell led the Beavers to the USPBL championship in 2017 and the league’s best record in the inaugural season in 2016. Newell has coached a league-best eight of the 20 players that have signed with MLB organizations in two seasons. The USPBL is a developmental professional baseball league that plays at Jimmy John’s Field in historic downtown Utica, Mich. The 2018 season will get underway on Friday, May 11.
