Pat Adams Named USPBL Player of the Week

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Eastside Diamond Hoppers outfielder Pat Adams is the United Shore Professional Baseball Player of the Week for July 1-7, announced by the league office on Monday. Adams, a native of Warren, Mich., earns the distinction for the first time in his career. Adams put on a show at the 2019 USPBL All-Star Game, going 4-for-5 and drove in three runs to collect MVP honors. He recorded the longest hitting streak (11) and reached base safely in 24 consecutive games before that string was snapped on Sunday. For the week, Adams hit .375, with three RBIs, four runs scored, tallied one triple and walked twice. He posted an impressive .444 batting average for the week. Adams has ranked inside the top two in the league all season long in batting average, and is currently second with a .355 average. Adams and the Diamond Hoppers will be in action…
