UTICA, Mich. – Conor Bagnieski went 1-for-2 and drove in three runs, while right-handed pitcher Jake Kinney struck out three in 2.0 innings to lead the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers (7-11) past the Utica Unicorns (13-6), 6-5, on Saturday night at Jimmy John’s Field. Edgar Cuevas earned the save for the Beavers. Cristian Laboy went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Drue Galassi led the way for the Unicorns, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and crossing the plate once.
