Left-handed pitcher Kevin Matthews struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings in a no decision for the Beavers. RHP Brian Heldman earned the win in relief, throwing 1.1 scoreless innings. RHP Deshorn Lake threw 2.0 scoreless innings, not allowing a hit and struck out one for the save. Jake Barbee led the Woolly Mammoths at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double. Alec Allred drove in a team-best two runs.
