Rockers mourn passing of Coy O. Williard, Jr.

Coy O. Williard, Jr. (1945-2024), the chairman of the board of the High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation and High Point Baseball, passed away at home earlier today, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with ALS. Coy was loved by his family and friends, admired by those he worked with and respected throughout the High Point community.

His family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers who brought comfort to him.
