LROD becomes EL ROD Larry Rodriguez to the Diablos

The Pecos League lost arguably their best prospect today as Larry Rodriguez’s contract was bought out by the El Paso Diablos. Larry was slated to goto the White Sands Pupfish. “We hate to lose Larry before he throws a pitch. But we also realized he was going to get better financial offers. So moving him 2500 or miles or moving him 80 miles to play in the same league? Which made sense.” Larry will be participating in the Pecos Spring League. Larry is only 20 years old and possesses a power fastball that has reached 96 mph. He was also a standout third baseman in his first season at San Jacinto College in Houston. Larry is from Channelview, Texas
