UTICA, Mich. – Jorden Hussein went 1-for-4 and drove in the game-winning run, Livingston Morris had three RBIs to lead the Westside Woolly Mammoths (11-12) past the Eastside Diamond Hoppers (10-13), 8-7, on Saturday night at Jimmy John’s Field.
Jonathan Haab earned the save for the Mammoths, pitching the final 1.1 innings and striking out three of the five batters he faced. Fox Leum hit his third home run of the season.
Bryant Shellenbarger led the Hoppers with a 3-for-4 performance, scoring twice and bringing in one run. Anthony Flores ended game one with two hits.
