UTICA, Mich. – Zach Beadle had two hits and three RBIS as the Westside Woolly Mammoths (23-17) defeated the Eastside Diamond Hoppers (21-18), 9-2, on Sunday at Jimmy John’s Field.
Livingston Morris went 3-for-4 with one RBI and three runs scored, while first baseman Fox Leum had one hit and crossed the plate three times. In his USPBL debut, RHP Connor Caporale picked up his first win, tossing 4.0 innings, allowing one hit, two runs and struck out six.
Joe Burke led for the Hoppers, with one hit and one run. Bryant Shellenbarger had one RBI and Anthony Flores had the second hit.
