Yesterday the Malone Border Hounds won the 2023 Empire Baseball League’s championship series, The Border Hounds defeated the Tupper Lake River Pigs by a final score of 12-6.
The Border Hounds now have been added to the list of historical independent baseball championship teams going back to the 1993 version of independent minor league professional baseball’s start. That list can be found here:
