WASHINGTON, Pa. (June 26) – The Wild Things scored six runs on four hits and two errors by Lake Erie in the seventh after entering the frame down 3-1, and eventually held on to grab their fourth comeback victory of the season. With the 9-4 win, the Wild Things have evened the series and have won eight of 10. Lake Erie scored a singular run in each of the third, fourth and fifth innings against Washington starter John Havird, who ended up with a quality start, tossing seven innings of three-run ball. He fanned seven and allowed six hits. Washington plated its first run on a groundout by JJ Fernandez in the sixth, before scoring the six runs in the seventh to give it the lead.
