Washington Wild Things infielder Joe Campagna and Schaumburg Boomers right-hander Kyle Arjona have won this week’s Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively. These awards are chosen by Pointstreak, who is the official statistical provider of the Frontier League. Campagna takes home Washington’s first Player of the Week Award this season. Campagna’s four home runs were the most in the league this week. His nine hits and nine RBIs were also among the league’s best. He was second in the league in batting average over the last seven days, hitting .474 in five games played. The 24-year-old is in his first full season with the Washington Wild Things.
