WASHINGTON, Pa. (August 17) – After falling behind 1-0, the Wild Things scored the next seven runs, and eventually took the game by a final of 7-2 Saturday at Wild Things Park. Nick Gallagher allowed two runs over 6.1 innings for his second win of the season while five players notched multi-hot performances. Windy City started the scoring in the second inning when Tyler Straub doubled home Tyler Alamo. The lead would be short-lived, as the Wild Things scored four times in the third. Cody Erickson knocked home the first run with a base hit. Ryan Cox then tripled home a pair before Brett Marr lifted a sac fly to score the fourth tally. In the third, Washington added two more, with the highlight being a Shaine Hughes RBI triple. The Wild Things ended up getting a run in the fifth on a single by JJ Fernandez, which capped the scoring.…
