SAUGET, Ill.– Former Rockford Aviator Drew Rucinski has been called up by the Minnesota Twins from their Triple-A affiliate, Rochester. In 6 appearances this season, Rucinski has a 3.48 ERA, with 10.1 innings pitched, and 13 strikeouts. Rucinski, a Wisconsin native, played for the Rockford Aviators from 2011-2013. Rucinski was signed by the Cleveland Indians as a non-drafted free agent in June 2011. He then made his MLB debut on July 10, 2014. Drew has also played for the Los Angeles Angels between 2014 and 2015. His career in the minors has been a lengthy one with 109 appearances, with an ERA 4.52, 424 strikeouts, including 2 complete games, and 492.1 innings pitched.
