Southern Illinois and Gateway will play two tomorrow beginning at 5:05 p.m. Marion, Ill. (May 17, 2016) – The Southern Illinois Miners announce that their scheduled game on Tuesday night against the Gateway Grizzlies has been postponed. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday night, with the first game beginning at 5:05 p.m. For more information, call (618) 998-8499. The Southern Illinois Miners are the back-to-back Frontier League East Division Champions and the 2012 Frontier League Champions. They have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year award three times since their inception, and also set a new Frontier League attendance record in 2007, their inaugural season.
