The Trois-Rivières Eagles have renewed the contract of a first player for the 2020 season. The manager, TJ Stanton, agreed with the local product and outfielder, Raphaël Gladu. The 24-year-old will return for a second season with the Birds. When he started in the independent network, he maintained a batting average of 0.302 and slammed 21 doubles. He also dominated the team’s RBI column with 64 in just 69 games. “I am very happy to start building a winning team with a talented and character player like Raphaël. He is also a very involved person in the community, which is very important to the organization, “said Stanton. Gladu is a 16th round pick from the New York Mets at the 2017 draft.
