Rockland County, NY (Feb. 21, 2020) – The future looks a bit brighter for the New York Boulders after the success enjoyed by a trio of off-season signings in this past season’s California Winter League action. Outfielder Matt Feinstein topped the eight-team circuit in batting average with a .488 mark, while catcher Hunter Hisky was third in the category with a .441 mark, followed by corner infielder Miguel Pimentel at .421. All three are expected to contend for starting spots on this year’s Boulders. In addition, Hisky’s 19 RBIs was second-best in the league and three more than Pimentel (16), who ranked fourth. Feinstein ended the season with 14 RBIs, 10th best in the league. Feinstein and Hisky played in 16 games over the winter, while Pimentel did his damage at the plate in only 11 contests.
