WASHINGTON, PA- The Traverse City Beach Bums(15-20) took an early 3-0 lead in the first on their way to a big 13-2 win over the Washington Wild Things(23-13), and snatched two of three this week in Pennsylvania. Alec Olund led off the game with a hard double into left field then Isaac Benard walked, extended his streak of reaching base to 25 games. Will Kengor put the Bums on the board, hitting an opposite field three run homer. Washington scored in the bottom of the inning when Roman Collins hit a sacrifice fly then the teams traded runs in the second. Max Dutto led off the inning by getting hit by a pitch then he moved to second on a wild pitch. Josh Hauser followed and cranked a double into left scoring Dutto. Washington pulled within two in the bottom if the frame when Mike Hill hit a solo homer. In the third, the Beach Bums brought nine men to the plate, scoring six runs on six hits to pull away.
