SCHAUMBURG, IL- After last nights game was suspended before the sixth inning, with the Traverse City Beach Bums(4-4) leading 8-3, the game continued tonight and Traverse City took the win 9-6, and then won the nightcap over the Schaumburg Boomers(2-6), 5-2. In game one, which started last night, Schaumburg got on the board first with an RBI sacrifice fly by Casey Scoggins in the second. The Beach Bums responded in the next half inning when Josh Hauser walked and Donald Glover Jr. Hit a double. After Jason Heinrich walked to load the load, Will Kengor grounded out, scoring Hauser to tie the game. Luke Lowery followed with a sacrifice fly to score Glover, giving the Beach Bums a 2-1 lead. With one out in the fourth, Steve Lohr singled to center, then Kendall Patrick slammed a two-run homer over the centerfield wall, giving Traverse City a 4-1 lead. As the fog and mist rolled in, the Beach Bums took advantage in the top of the fifth. Glover led off with a single then Heinrich double and Kengor walk to load the bases.
