Traverse City Beach Bums add David Lemley

TRAVERSE CITY, MI The Traverse City Beach Bums have announced the signing of infielder/outfielder David Lemley. Lemley begins his professional career after graduating from La Roche College, an NCAA division 3 school in Pittsburgh, PA. He leaves the Redhawks as their all-time leader in home runs with 21 in three seasons. In his senior year, the Bethel Park, PA native hit .408 with nine long balls, 20 doubles, and 51 runs batted in on his way to being named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference all-conference team for the second straight time. In the season before, he smashed 12 home runs and drove in 55 runs with a .341 batting average, while leading La Roche to a NCAA Mideast Regional Championship, and the College World Series semi-finals.
