Saturday night was highlighted by a pair of extra inning finishes, and a couple of offensive outpourings. Catch up on all of it with a recap of every game here: The Lake Erie Crushers topped the Joliet Slammers 9-3 after an eight-run eighth inning. The Slammers got on the board first, with a two-run home run from Kyle Jacobsen to make it 2-0. Braxton Davidson smacked an RBI double in the fourth, to extend Joliet’s lead to 3-0. Lake Erie would not put a score on the board until the seventh, when Joliet shortstop Tyler Depreta-Johnson made an errant throw, allowing a run to score and make it 3-1 entering the eighth. In the eighth, the Crushers loaded the bases, and with two outs, unloaded for eight runs on only three hits. Isaac Benard hit a two-run RBI single to tie the game.
