Lefthander Dan Wirchansky pitched seven scoreless innings, giving up just three hits, and striking out twelve—tying the franchise record last held by Justin Brantley in 2018 against Trois-Rivières in the Can-Am League. The Boulders started the scoring right away in the first, with a two-run single by Kevonte Mitchell. They stretched the lead to 3-0 in the sixth with an RBI single from Ray Hernandez. Then Zach Kirtley drove in four with a grand slam in the seventh inning to open the game up to a 7-0 Boulders lead.
