Sunday’s schedule was highlighted by some Frontier League history, as well as a pair of series sweeps and offensive eruptions. Read more about each of Sunday’s games here: The Washington Wild Things took the series finale and the series sweep with a 4-2 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers. Washington first struck in the fourth inning, when Bralin Jackson hit an RBI groundout. Lake Erie got on the board in the sixth with an RBI single by Zach Racusin. The next inning, Washington answered with a Tristan Peterson RBI single in the seventh. Trevor Casanova also scored on a wild pitch and Peterson later scored on an RBI single from Nick Ward to make it 4-1.
