Just five games took place Friday night after weather postponed a pair of games, but there was still plenty of action to be had. Catch up on anything you may have missed here with our nightly recap: The Washington Wild Things defeated the New Jersey Jackals 7-6 in the early game to take the opening game of the series. Washington got on the board in the first on a double steal, with Nick Ward scoring the first run. New Jersey scored the next three runs, the first coming on a T.J. Ward groundout. Russ Olive would follow in the third with an RBI double and Stanley Espinal scored Olive on a groundout. Then in the fourth, Washington unloaded for five runs. Brian Sharp, Nick Ward, and Andrew Sohn each walked with the bases, Bralin Jackson hit a sacrifice fly to score a run, and Andrew Czech drove in the fifth…
