Tuesday’s Frontier League action was highlighted by a historic save and the extension of a win streak. Catch up on anything you missed here: With three runs in the seventh inning, the Washington Wild Things defeated the Tri-City ValleyCats 5-2. In the win, Washington’s Zach Strecker earned his 19th save of the season and the 71st of his career, breaking the tie with Eric Massingham achieved Sunday and making him the new Frontier League saves leader. The ValleyCats scored first in the game when Connor Lien hit an RBI triple in the third inning. Daniel Kreuzer later hit an RBI groundout in the inning to make it 2-0. Washington plated a run in the third with an RBI groundout by Grant Heyman to make it 2-1. The Wild Things tied the game in the sixth inning when Trevor Casanova hit an RBI double.
