The Trois-Rivières Aigles acquired veteran oufielder Steve Brown from the Washington Wild Things in return for two players to be named later. During his time in Trois-Rivières from 2013 to 2016, Brown marked the hearts of fans in addition to being still to this day the leader of the team record book for home runs, doubles, triples, base hits, and runs scored. Brown will begin this summer his 15 th season in the professional ranks and the eleventh consecutive with a Canadian team. The 34-year-old Colombian joined the Edmonton Capitals in 2010 in the Golden Baseball League. Then, he had played a season with the Capitales of Quebec in 2012 before joining the ranks of the Aigles.
