JOLIET, IL – As MLB concludes its opening week, the Joliet Slammers are ramping up for their home opener at Silver Cross Field set for Tuesday, May 17 at 7:05 pm. The Slammers are excited to announce some of the top promotional nights headlining their 2016 promotional schedule like returning Princess Nights and Bark in the Park Days, as well as all new promotions. RETURNING PROMOTIONS Returning fan favorites include Princess Nights on Friday, June 3 and Friday, June 12 with princesses provided by Magic, Music, and More. Anna and Elsa, among other princesses will be available for autographs and pictures on the concourse. Fans can stick around for a princess themed fireworks display by Lumina Pyrotechnics post-game. Bark in the Park Days will return to Silver Cross Field on Sunday, June 5 and Sunday, July 17, both 1:05 pm games. The first 500 fans will receive a doggie treat bag provided by Tucker’s Doggie Delights. Tucker’s will also be hosting a “Best in Show” social media contest leading up to the games for fans wanting to flaunt their four-legged friends.
