SLAMMERS MANAGER JEFF ISOM RETURNING FOR FOURTH SEASON IN JOLIET

The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy announce the return of Manager Jeff Isom to the Slammers organization for his fourth consecutive season. Isom led the Slammers to a division championship in 2016, making the playoffs for the first time since 2011 when the Slammers were named Frontier League Champions. Isom was selected as the East Division Manager for the 2016 Frontier League All-Star game hosted by the Florence Freedom in Florence, KY, and was recognized as the 2016 Frontier League Manager of the year receiving the Roger Hanners Award. “I am really excited about this upcoming season”, Isom said. “There are a lot of things I am looking forward to. One, building on the success we had last year on the field. Two, the Frontier League All-Star Game coming to Joliet will be great for this organization and Joliet. It’s an exciting time to be with the Slammers.” Isom is a Purdue University-alum and was an 18th round draft pick by the Pittsburg Pirates in 1993.
