Slammers Host Otters In Midweek Series

JOLIET, Ill. —The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy take on the Evansville Otters in a midweek series beginning on Tuesday, May 23. On Tuesday, the Slammers host Alumni Night where high school and college groups can show off their school pride and tickets are only two dollars as part of the Slammers $2 Tuesday promotion. The Slammers third and final Education Day will be held on Wednesday, May 24 with first pitch scheduled for 10:05 A.M. All area schools are invited to join the Slammers for a mid-morning game. Kids Run the Bases presented by Andy’s Frozen Custard will follow the game. Bike Night is planned for Thursday, May 25. A parade around the field beginning at 6:15 pm with motorcycles from the Christian Motorcycle Association will occur pre-game before the 7:05 pm game start time. Thursday will also feature $2 drink specials for the Slammers Thirsty Thursday promotion presented by Bud Light. Drink specials include $2 Budweiser, Bud Light, and Pepsi products. Following the weekday series, the Slammers travel to O’Fallon, Missouri to take on the River City Rascals.
