Slammers Fall in Game One to Windy City

JOLIET, IL – With baseball returning to DuPage Medical Group Field, the Slammers looked to start the series with Windy City with a win. Right-hander Cam Aufderheide took to the hill for Joliet. Victory was out of reach tonight for the Slammers as Windy City took the win with a final score of 7-2 winning game one of the four game series. With a scoreless 3 innings to kick off the game, the Slammers put up one run in the bottom of the fourth for the 1-0 lead. Terry Daniels put the ball out for a double driving in Lane Baremore for the run. Daniels would be put out at third in a 8-4-5 play for the last out of the inning.
