A few late comeback wins and a pair of doubleheaders helped wrap up the week in the Frontier League. Catch up on anything you may have missed with Sunday’s recap: The Schaumburg Boomers defeated the Lake Erie Crushers 4-2 after scoring three runs in the top of the ninth inning. Bryan De La Rosa started the scoring in the bottom of the third inning by singling home a run for the Crushers. Connor Oliver followed in the fourth with another RBI single that made it 2-0 Crushers. The Boomers got on the board in the fifth when Chase Dawson scored after an error by second baseman. The score remained 2-1 Crushers until the top of the ninth inning, when with two runners on, Chase Dawson cleared the bases with a two-run triple, giving the Boomers a 3-2 lead.
