The Fourth of July saw lots of fireworks—in the form of big offensive nights for several teams. Catch up some of the impressive offensive performances here with our recap of all the action: The New York Boulders held off a late surge by the Washington Wild Things to win 4-3 and move into first place in the Atlantic Division. The Boulders scored all four of their runs in the fifth inning. The first run came on a throwing error and was followed by a bases-loaded Zach Kirtley two-run single that made it 3-0. Ray Hernandez then knocked in a run on a sacrifice fly to make it 4-0. In the seventh, Washington got on the board with an Andrew Czech home run which extended his hit streak to 12 games—the longest active streak in the Frontier League.
