O’FALLON, Mo. —The River City Rascals drafted top players from police, fire, ambulance…and one very special nine year old Make-A-Wish® child named Kyvin – who is battling a rare uncontrolled seizure disorder- to form a championship team for its new community initiative honoring the untold good and sacrificial role of local first responders. On Friday, June 23 at 6 p.m., the Rascals, in collaboration with sponsoring partners Sysco and Homes For Heroes, will present each All-Star team member with awards and customized jerseys, prior to a ceremonial first pitch to be thrown by Kyvin, whose wish to go to Disney World (will be granted later this year) and become friends with heroes who serve and protect the community.
