PIERRE ARSENAULT JOINS QUEBEC COACHING STAFF

The Quebec City Capitales today announced the hiring of a new assistant coach. The coaching team will be able to count on an addition of experience as Pierre Arsenault has ratified an agreement linking him to the organization. He will support manager Patrick Scalabrini as head assistant coach and wear several hats, including pitching coach. Pierre Arsenault has an impressive track record in professional baseball. First an amateur player in his early years in Montreal, he started his career in the major leagues as a coach with the Montreal Expos. Starting in the late 1980s as a batting practice pitcher and catcher in the bullpen, Pierre Arsenault has held a variety of positions in the Montreal organization. Known for his coaching skills with the Montreal team, Arsenault also demonstrated the breadth of his communication skills as he analyzed Expos games on the radio for two seasons. The 1992 season was…
