Dominant pitching, a home run derby, and a walk-off win highlighted Tuesday night’s return to Frontier League action. Catch up on all of the game’s highlights with our nightly recap: Équipe Québec defeated the Sussex County Miners 7-4 after seven innings of what was supposed to be game one of a doubleheader between the teams. Jeffry Parra singled home the game’s first run for Québec in the first. In the second, Jonathan Lacroix singled home a run, but Sussex County took a one-run lead after a three-run home run by Kaleo Johnson in the fourth inning. Québec responded with five runs in the fifth. Kevin Whatley scored on a wild pitch, Connor Panas and Jesse Hodges each singled home runs, and Lacroix doubled them both home to regain the lead and make it 7-3.
