O’FALLON, Mo (June 5, 2018) – It seemed like the (9-13) Normal CornBelters needed Monday off to recollect themselves and make some transactions as they topped the first place (14-7) River City Rascals 5-3 to open up the final road series on Tuesday night. “This win means a lot. If you look at the standings were in the last place, but we are right there. We talked about this the other day, everyone is clumped together and it’s not like we are 3-20 and chasing a lot of games,” said Billy Horn. “It (win) means a lot and especially to get off on the right foot. Jacinto (Garcia) went out and gave us a quality start again.
