A pair of doubleheaders and pitcher’s duels highlighted Friday night’s games in the Frontier League. Read about all of them here with our nightly recap: The New York Boulders and New Jersey Jackals split their doubleheader Friday. In game one, New Jersey had an offensive explosion, beating New York 12-1. Santiago Chirino got the Jackals on the board first with an RBI single in the first. The scoring continued in the second, with Demetrius Moorer doubling home a run, Chris Carpio scoring one on a groundout, another run scoring on an error, and Alfredo Marte plating a run on an RBI single to make it 5-0 Jackals. Chris Carpio singled home another run in the third and Russ Olive homered in the fourth.
