There was plenty of late drama Wednesday night, as four contests ended in extra innings. Catch up on all the action with this quick recap: Équipe Québec shut out the Lake Erie Crushers 5-0 after all five runs were scored in the first. Elliot Curtis hit an RBI single to put Québec on the board. Gift Ngoepe then stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and launched a grand slam which made it 5-0. Starter Miguel Cienfuegos had a solid outing, going seven scoreless innings and giving up six hits to the Crushers in the win. For the Crushers, Sean Johnson got the loss after allowing five runs on eight hits through 4.1 innings. The Tri-City ValleyCats beat the Sussex County Miners 3-2 to win their first series of the year. The ValleyCats opened the scoring with a Nelson Molina solo home run in the fourth inning. A…
