Marion, Ill. (May 12, 2016) – The Southern Illinois Miners have announced their promotional schedule for the 2016 season. With exciting theme nights for every single home game, great giveaways, daily promotional deals and more, there has never been a better reason to take you and your family out to the ballgame! Here are just a few of the fantastic theme nights ahead at Rent One Park in 2016: – Friday, May 13th is OPENING NIGHT! The Miners will ring in a new season at home against the defending champion Traverse City Beach Bums at 7:05 p.m., with a phenomenal postgame fireworks show as part of Fireworks Friday, sponsored by People’s National Bank, WPSD Local 6, and River Radio. – The next night, Saturday, May 14th, the ZOOperstars make their return to Rent One Park when the Miners face the Beach Bums at 6:05 p.m!
