The Crushers (14-12) ended a three game losing slide and are now 3-1 against Windy City this season. With the loss, the ThunderBolts (17-11) are 3-7 in their previous 10 games. Lake Erie jumped on the board in the first inning as Parks Jordan walked with one out.Carlos Avila struck out and Jose Barraza singled to left, moving Jordan to second. Still with two outs, Brendan Costantino came up and hit a soft groundball to third base. T-Bolts’ Taylor Smart tried to make a barehanded play, but the throw sailed past the first baseman, Blair Beck, into foul territory. Costantino was given a single on the play, with Jordan scoring on the error. The Crushers would add another run in the second inning as Cody Herald hit a one-out, infield single.
