Lake Erie CrusherS’ Shortstop Emmanuel Marrero and Windy City ThunderBolts’ starting pitcher Adam Oller are this week’s Frontier League Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively as chosen by Pointstreak, the official statistical provider of the Frontier League and the Independent Professional Baseball Federation. Emmanuel Marrero is getting off to a hot start in his first year with the Lake Erie Crushers. He continues to hit at the plate as he added 11 hits, 10 RBIs, 2 home runs, and 3 stolen bases last week. Emmanuel’s .405 batting average and 10 RBI rank him 2nd in the league for both categories. Marrero helped the Crushers to a 5-1 record for the week, and a 7-2 record overall, which is tops in the league.
