Saturday saw a couple of comeback wins, some great pitching performances, and a home run derby finish as well. Catch up on all the action here with our nightly recap: The Lake Erie Crushers took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and beat the Florence Y’alls 7-2. The Crushers took the lead in the bottom of the first, when Trevor Achenbach hit a two-run home run. In the second, Eric Callahan brought home a run on a groundout. Steven Kraft followed with an RBI double that made it 4-0 Lake Erie. Isaac Benard then hit an RBI ground rule double to make it 5-0 after two innings. In the fifth, Karl Ellison’s solo home run made it 6-0 Crushers, and in the sixth, Callahan hit a solo shot of his own to make it 7-0. Florence broke through in the seventh with two runs.
