In case you missed any part of a busy Saturday in the Frontier League, here is a recap to get you all caught up: The Schaumburg Boomers got a season-high sixteen hits in a 13-2 win over the Evansville Otters. Luke Becker hit a solo home run in the second, then Chase Dawson hit a three-run homer in the third to make it 4-0. In the fifth, Quincy Nieporte hit a homer as well as part of a five-run fifth that made it 9-0 Boomers. Evansville scored two on a Bryce Denton single in the sixth and a sac fly from J.R. Davis in the eighth. Schaumburg’s Angelo Gumbs doubled home two in the bottom of the eighth before Becker hit his second home run of the night, this time a two-run shot.
