Saturday night’s action featured a doubleheader, a home run derby victory, and many other noteworthy performances. Read about all of them with our nightly recap on every game: The Florence Y’alls and the New Jersey Jackals each took a game from their doubleheader Saturday afternoon. Florence took game one by a score of 6-3. The Jackals plated the first run of the game in the bottom of the first, when Santiago Chirino hit an RBI single. Florence responded by scoring all six of their runs in the third inning. Axel Johnson doubled home a run before Chad Sedio hit a two-run home run. Jordan Brower followed that later in the inning with a three-run home run to make it 6-1.
